Description
Ca' di Alte is the brilliant creation of winemaker Alberto Marchisio. Though originally from Piedmont, Alberto has brought his mastery to the Veneto region for several years. Since taking the reins as director and winemaker at Cantina Colli Vicentini in 2012, he has transformed the quality of their wines with stunning results.
The grapes flourish on the sun-kissed hills south of Vicenza, in the Colli Berici region. These hillside vineyards boast lower yields and optimal grape ripeness, ensuring each bottle bursts with character. Thanks to Alberto’s meticulous touch in the winery, the wines retain their delicate, aromatic brilliance.
The label features a Palladian window as a tribute to the legendary 16th-century architect, Andrea Palladio. Many of Palladio's masterpieces, now UNESCO World Heritage Sites, grace Vicenza and its surroundings. In fact, he called Montecchio Maggiore—home to Colli Vicentini winery—his home for much of his life.
The north-facing vineyards benefit from cool hillside nights, which coax out the grapes’ beautiful aromas. The vines are carefully trained using the Guyot system, thriving in the unique calcareous and volcanic soils.
This Prosecco dazzles with its light straw-yellow hue and lively, fine bubbles. The bouquet enchants with delicate notes of pear and white flowers, which flow seamlessly onto a palate that’s bright, clean, and finishes with a refreshingly crisp flourish.
